Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you ("you", "the client") and Webies ("we", "us", "our"). They apply to your use of webies.co (the "Site") and to any services you buy from us.

By using the Site or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, can enter into a binding contract, and accept these Terms. If you are acting for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

We offer website design and development, SEO, content, AI automation and branding services, sold as fixed packages (such as Entry, Startup and Growth) or as custom projects.

What is included in each package is described on the Site at the time of purchase or in a written proposal we send you. Anything not listed there is outside the scope of the project and may be quoted separately.

• Prices are shown on the Site or in your proposal and are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
• Package orders are paid in full at checkout. Custom projects may be paid in stages as set out in your proposal.
• Work begins once payment has been received and we have what we need to start.
• Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. You agree to provide accurate billing information.
• Any applicable taxes are your responsibility unless included in the price.
• Recurring services (such as hosting, maintenance or ongoing SEO) are billed on the schedule agreed at sign-up until cancelled.

After your order, we will contact you to gather the content, brand assets and access we need. Estimated timelines start once we have received these materials.

Timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays in receiving content, feedback or approvals from you will move the delivery date. If a project is paused for more than 30 days because we are waiting on you, we may close it and treat the work as delivered, or charge a fee to restart it.

Each package includes the number of revision rounds described in that package. A revision round is one consolidated list of changes to work already produced. New features, new pages or changes in direction after approval are extra work and will be quoted separately.

When you approve a design or launch a website, that stage is considered complete.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information, content and feedback on time.
• Make sure you have the rights to any text, images, logos or other materials you give us.
• Review your website before launch and tell us about any errors.
• Keep your own logins, domain and hosting accounts secure and renewed, unless we manage them for you.
• Make sure your website's content and use comply with the laws that apply to your business.

Once you have paid in full, you own the final website design and the content we create specifically for you. Until then, all work remains our property.

Third-party items such as themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and software stay subject to their own licences. Our own tools, code snippets, templates and know-how that we use across projects remain ours; we give you a permanent licence to use them as part of your website.

Unless you ask us not to, we may show your project in our portfolio and marketing, and include a small credit link in your website footer.

Because our services involve custom work and time reserved for your project:

• If you cancel before work has started, you may request a full refund.
• If you cancel after work has started, we may keep a fair amount for the work completed, and refund any remainder.
• Once a website has been delivered or launched, payments are non-refundable.
• Recurring services can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the current billing period.

Your website may rely on services we do not control, such as hosting providers, domain registrars, payment gateways, plugins, WhatsApp and other platforms. We are not responsible for their outages, changes, pricing or policies. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

You agree not to misuse the Site. This includes trying to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its security or performance, scraping it at scale, uploading malicious code, or using it for anything unlawful. All content on the Site, including text, graphics and the Webies name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.

We will provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, the Site and our services are provided "as is". We do not guarantee specific results, such as search rankings, traffic, leads or sales, because these depend on factors outside our control.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Either party may end a project by written notice if the other party seriously breaches these Terms and does not fix the breach within 14 days. We may also end a project if payment is overdue or if you behave abusively toward our team. On termination, you pay for the work completed up to that date.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Webies is registered. If a disagreement comes up, please contact us first; most issues can be solved quickly by talking. If we cannot resolve it informally, the dispute will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown on the Site when you place an order applies to that order. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were last changed.
